The day took on the scenario of ‘Metz 1944’ designed by team captain Woody. The scenario was a little more complex than anything played at the Bunker previously but worked really well and similar games are already planned for the future. Normally all the games are pre-planned in advance, however for this event, the games followed on from one another so no-one knew what game would be played next until the current game had finished and the score’s etc had been calculated. It made things a little trickier for the players as well as the marshals but all that was needed between games was a good 5 minute brief and everyone then knew how things were to play out. Grats go to SNR for running the day!! :)
With the Allies and AXIS teams both on 9 points going into the last game, the Americans just had that little more in the tank and ran out worthy winners!! Well done.
As was mentioned on the day, the fires fights indoors and out were up close and intense! The sheer volume of pyro used by 40 people was insane and made for a loud day all round…and I won't even mention the hot weather and humidity levels.
Kent Rangers, Demon Paintball and all of the other guests that played a blinder… awesome weekend from start to finish. Already looking forward to doing it all over again especially with the new ‘sugar rush’ that is… Kiss and Bake Up. Expect to see them at a lot more events from now on…
